Job SummaryGracePath Healthcare is currently seeking compassionate, dedicated, and experienced Live-In Caregivers to provide one-on-one support to elderly and disabled clients across the United States. As a Live-In Caregiver, you will play a vital role in improving the quality of life for individuals who require daily assistance and emotional support in the comfort of their own homes.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide personalized care and companionship tailored to individual client needs
Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Administer medications and monitor vital signs as per care plan instructions
Support with meal preparation, feeding, and dietary needs
Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, dishwashing, and tidying living areas
Accompany clients to medical appointments and social activities
Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and communicate changes in client health to supervisors
Foster a nurturing, respectful, and safe environment for clients at all times
Required Skills and QualificationsProficiency in spoken and written English
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Patience, empathy, and a high level of emotional intelligence
Ability to follow care plans and medical instructions precisely
Physically able to lift and assist clients with mobility as required
Clean background check and willingness to comply with U.S. immigration regulations
ExperienceMinimum of 1 year of caregiving experience (professional or personal)
Prior experience in elderly care or home health preferred
Experience with dementia, Alzheimers, or other chronic conditions is a plus
Working HoursLive-in, full-time position
5–6 days per week with adequate rest periods and scheduled time off
24-hour on-site care with agreed-upon sleep and break hours
Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesUnderstanding of elder care, basic medical terminology, and hygiene practices
Familiarity with handling medical equipment (e.g., walkers, wheelchairs)
Ability to handle emergencies calmly and efficiently
Cultural sensitivity and adaptability in a home setting
Strong time management and organization skills
